Hiring: Assembly Support Engineer
Location: Leuven, Belgium
Duration: 12-month contract (extension possible)
Rate of Pay: Negotiable
Desired Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Regime: Full-time, 5 days/week (40 hours)
Join a leading semiconductor technology team for an exciting 12-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension.
What You Will Do:
Provide technical support for assembly processes and materials in semiconductor packaging
Ensure timely delivery of packaged IC components to customers
Collaborate with suppliers to source and qualify packaging materials
Monitor and improve packaging quality, yields, and defect rates
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the IC packaging process
Generate reports on packaging performance and improvement metrics
What we are looking For:
Strong knowledge of semiconductor packaging technologies and processes
Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Proven experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required)
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
