This role will be based in our Bristol office with occasional travel to our clients’ sites as required however as part of our commitment to flexible working, employees are able to work a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing electronics designs for high quality aerospace products
They will take products through the full lifecycle from requirements to production and customer delivery
Develop and simulate analogue and digital circuits for aerospace applications
Select electronic components based on specifications, availability, cost, and reliability
Test prototypes, perform debugging and iterate on designs
Prepare technical documentation in accordance with engineering processes and project needs
Participate in design reviews
Track project milestones, coordinate tasks with team members, and report progress to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-discipline engineering teams
Provide technical support for hardware manufacturing
The level and scope of responsibilities will be dependent on the successful candidates' knowledge and experience
Qualifications
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified, in a related discipline
Ideally a registered Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership

Worked to AS9100 or ISO9001 QMS
Worked with Agile and/or Scrum environments
Experience in a regulated industry (desirable)
