ROLE: Hardware Engineer
LOCATION: Grenoble, France
SALARY: Negotiable
DURATION: 6 - 12 months (could be extended)
I am currently looking for a consultant in HW architecture to be involved in a project with Processing in Memory.
Responsibilities:
• Project with local startup to explore advanced technologies with DDR Processing In Memory (PIM)
• Advanced research topics - targeting next-generation ARM-based multi-processor SoCs.
• A R&D team in the Grenoble research institute, focused on key technologies for future SoCs and Promotion of the use
of these to improve product competitiveness.
• Work areas include: GEM5 modeling, HW accelerator, memory hierarchy including cache and DDR, HW/SW co-design
• Multi-processor SoC platform modeling to evaluate HW/SW optimization
• Application areas: Networking data plane, control plane.
Essential Skills:
• 3+ years hardware engineer
• Good experience and background in System-on-Chip including HW accelerator, CPU, caches.
• Good experience in C/C++ and python for HW modeling and performance profiling.
• Strong learning ability to quickly master new areas of knowledge.
• A strong history of thinking creatively and communicating effectively in a global team environment.
