Job Title: Senior/Lead High-Speed Analog Design Engineer – SerDes
Location: On-site (2–3 weeks for ramp-up), then fully remote

Overview
A leading semiconductor company is seeking an experienced High-Speed Analog Design Engineer to join on a contract basis. The role focuses on developing next-generation SerDes solutions targeting data rates beyond 200G. We are looking for a strong technical leader with deep expertise in high-speed analog design who can drive new architectures and circuits to achieve state-of-the-art performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-speed analog circuits including PLLs, ADCs, DACs, and SerDes.
- Explore, propose, and implement new architectures to push performance boundaries in the SerDes domain.
- Contribute to the full design flow: specification, schematic design, layout guidance, and verification.
- Collaborate with digital, mixed-signal, and system engineering teams to ensure successful integration of high-speed blocks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding the team and ensuring best design practices.
- Support silicon bring-up, lab characterization, and correlation with simulation results.
- Prepare technical documentation and present findings internally.
Requirements
- MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 7+ years of proven experience in high-speed analog/mixed-signal IC design.
- Strong expertise in PLLs, ADCs, DACs, and SerDes circuit design.
- Experience with advanced CMOS processes and industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys).
- Solid understanding of SerDes architectures at 200G and beyond.
- Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical direction and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Contract Details
- Duration: 12-month initial contract (extension very likely).
- Work Setup: 2–3 weeks on-site ramp-up, followed by remote working.
- Location: Flexible within Europe.
