DSP Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
As a DSP Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the efficient real-time implementation, porting, optimization, and verification of audio algorithms and modules for digital audio signal processing across various products and system components.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing software applications and audio plugins for internal and external use, with a strong focus on DSP.
- Independently evaluating, developing, and integrating new technologies and procedures, including documentation, in the area of digital audio signal processing.
- Collaborating closely with the project team and preparing relevant technical documentation.
- Specifying, developing, and assessing appropriate hardware and software platforms for real-time algorithm implementation in line with system requirements.
Your Profile
- A completed technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering) or comparable qualification, with some initial professional experience.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience in developing complex audio DSP algorithms.
- Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, or Rust; basic knowledge of web technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with distributed version control systems like Git, and plugin development using JUCE.
- Basic experience with machine learning is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and the ability to work independently in a self-organized and proactive manner.
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Eagerness to grow professionally, with an open and curious mindset.
Please note: This position requires presence on-site in Berlin at least 3 days per week. Flexibility for hybrid work is available for the remaining days.
