Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Researcher to join our team, dedicated to advancing AI software systems and compiler technologies. The successful candidate will work on improving the performance and efficiency of AI models and will play a pivotal role in shaping our research outputs and product strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead innovative research into optimizing AI software stacks, focusing on compiler technologies and performance improvement strategies.
- Design and refine frameworks and tools, using leading-edge technologies such as PyTorch, Triton, MLIR, and TVM.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to transition research into real-world applications, enhancing product features and capabilities.
- Contribute to top-tier conferences and academic journals, sharing research breakthroughs with the broader AI and computer science communities.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members, cultivating a collaborative and inventive research environment.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends in AI and compiler technologies, incorporating new insights into ongoing projects and research efforts.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, specializing in AI, compilers, or advanced software systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, PyTorch, Triton, MLIR, and TVM.
- In-depth understanding of compiler design, programming models, and advanced optimization techniques for parallel processing.
- Practical experience with large-scale AI model training and deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including a proven track record of publishing research findings and presenting them to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in performance analysis, benchmarking, and profiling AI models.
- Knowledge of hardware architectures and their impact on AI system optimization.
- Experience contributing to open-source AI projects or participating in the wider AI research ecosystem.
