Senior Sales Manager (Automotive)
The Senior Sales Manager for Automotive EMEA will develop and expand direct automotive accounts that are strategic to the company, managing complex supply chain and logistics requirements. This role will establish the company as a strategic/preferred supplier while driving profitable revenue growth. The Senior Sales Manager Automotive will create and execute a focused account strategy, fostering executive-level engagements between the company and key customers.
This position will be based in Germany and report directly to the General Manager, EMEA.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for direct automotive customers in the EMEA region, working alongside Regional Sales Directors, Regional Sales Managers, and Inside Sales Representatives to increase sales in alignment with agreed strategies and business plans.
- Ensures a clear and progressive automotive customer development strategy, utilising resources effectively to drive revenue growth.
- Develops and implements a profitable growth plan aligned with corporate objectives, understanding the full automotive account base, key personnel, and major programmes.
- Works with Regional Sales Managers to create strategies for capturing new and competitive business across all automotive accounts.
- Leads and guides the development of new opportunity engagements that provide high value to automotive accounts while aligning the company’s strengths with customer needs.
- Develops and drives automotive strategies with the Regional Sales Manager team, identifying and qualifying pre-sales opportunities.
- Establishes executive-level relationship mapping and builds networks with key decision-makers, ensuring engagement between senior leadership and automotive customers.
- Acts as the primary liaison with executive leadership, filtering and communicating information related to customer objectives, performance, opportunities, and challenges.
- Becomes a trusted partner within automotive customer organisations, navigating their internal structures efficiently.
- Understands the entire automotive ecosystem (end customers, design partners, programme managers, and supply chain teams) and leverages resources to communicate the company's value proposition effectively.
- Leads and negotiates global pricing contracts and development agreements while maintaining access and influence with engineering and executive teams.
- Travels as needed to drive strategic automotive opportunities and executive relationships across the customer base.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborates across departments and regions to drive and align account strategies.
- Works closely with Global Supplier Development and Supplier Customers to identify business opportunities.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Business, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor sales, demand creation, or sales management within the OCM/Channel sector.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable sales results and high-performance outcomes.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to drive a car.
- Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally.
