Job Title: Senior Digital IC Design Front End Engineer
Position: Full time, permanent
Location: Leuven, Belgium
Salary Range: Negotiable

Responsibilities:
- Integrate legacy control and data path designs into new products
- Update and verify legacy designs to meet new product requirements
- Design and verify new ultra-high-speed DSP blocks for next-generation products
- Collaborate with System Engineers to understand specification requirements and discuss power trade-offs
- Work closely with the physical implementation team to enhance design and flow processes
This role includes technical leadership, requiring strong hands-on expertise, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to high technical performance, product and process quality, and meeting project schedules.
Education and experience:
Education: MSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of industrial experience in digital front-end design
RTL & Verification:
• Strong knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog for design and verification
• Solid experience with RTL coding and linting
• Understanding of simulation concepts such as regression testing, UVM, functional coverage, and assertions
• Experience with delay-annotated gate-level simulation
Design & Implementation:
• Knowledge of DFT, ATPG, and OCC
• Familiarity with CDC issues
• Understanding of UPF intents and techniques for low-power design
• Experience in implementing high-speed pipelined FIR DSP structures (a plus)
Formal Verification (Preferred):
• Experience with formal linting, sequential equivalence checking, and assertion-based verification
Programming & Scripting:
• Proficiency in C/C++/SystemC for RTL verification
• Strong experience with Python and TCL scripting
Technical Skills & Tools:
• Comfortable working in a Linux command-line environment
• Proficient in Windows MS Office for reporting and documentation
Soft Skills & Work Ethic:
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Result-driven with a continuous drive for improvement
• Determined and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
