Job Title: Service Engineer
Location: Germany, Munich
Salary: €60,000 - €70,000
Languages: Fluent in English & German
We are looking for a Service Engineer responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of equipment for their clients, mainly in the semiconductor sector.
Main Responsibilities:
•Install and commission complex technological equipment at client sites across Europe.
•Train users in the operation of the equipment.
•Diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the machines.
•Collaborate closely with the technical team to resolve complex issues and optimize equipment performance.
•Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
•Draft detailed technical reports following interventions.
•Actively participate in training to stay updated on new technologies and solutions.
•Frequent travel in Germany and Europe is expected, with potential travel outside Europe for training for interventions.
Requirements:
•Techniker, Bachelor of Masters degree in electronics, mechanics, automation or equivalent.
•Initial experience in the installation or maintenance of technical equipment (ideally in the semiconductor field)
•Knowledge in mechanics, electronics, or automation, with the ability to learn on the job.
•Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
•Expertise in resolving complex technical issues.
•Experience in working with complex System software, creating of process-recipes, interpretation of large measurement data.
•Familiarity with ALD deposition technologies, optical metrology, electrical characterization, or cryogenics is a plus.
