Manufacturing Engineer non-conformances reductions
12 Month Contract
Location: Papendrecht (Netherlands) – 5 days onsite
Start date: ASAP
A client based in Papendrecht (Netherlands) is looking for Manufacturing Engineer non-conformances reductions- Root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances and a graduate with a mechanical or manufacturing degree or an experienced manufacturing engineer.. 12 Month contract.
This role is only available for Dutch Nationals.
Rate: €35 to €42 per hour
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems
• Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring compliance with the Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards
• Responsible for technical support of manufacturing development and integration for production. Resolve issues pertaining to vendor schedule and/or quality
• Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances
• Responsible for the implementation of tooling and or production planning, from original concept through to production
• Accountable for product development, first article development, configuration changes, build process definition and implementation
• Delivers measurable, metrics driven results in line with Operational & Program goals
• Maintain positive, team relationships with internal and external customers, as well as co-workers
• Continuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives.
Skills:
• Experience of managing (new) Product / Process introduction (industrialisation) & existing production process improvements
• Ability to influence people, build trust and establish effective working relationships within a global organisation
• Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000
• Good quality mind-set and strong documentation/reporting skills
• Working knowledge of machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing)
• Working knowledge of surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) is a plus
