FPGA Design/Architect Engineer
Location: USA - San Francisco, Arizona
Duration: 12 Months

A client based in San Francisco and Arizona is looking for a FPGA Design/Architect Engineer for an initial 12 month contract.

Role:
Lead Digital & Firmware development from architecture, component selection, design, verification/validation to implantation & production ramp.
Design and implement digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.
Develop and optimize FPGA-based solutions for specific applications.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest embedded high-speed systems technologies and industry trends.

Key Skills: FPGA, Verilog, VHDL, Digital design, Xilinx, Altera, Vivado or Intel Quartus, Digital signal processing (DSP), SOSA, Circuit board design

• 5 to 8 years of experience
• Understanding of digital design fundamentals.
• Verilog or VHDL.
• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx, Altera, Vivado or Intel Quartus.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and/or embedded systems is a plus.
• Knowledge new standards – SOSA
• Experienced with complex circuit board design process.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Design and implement digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.
