About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global FAE Manager to lead and develop a team of Field Application Engineers (FAEs). In this critical role, you will serve as a key technical liaison between FAEs, internal applications engineering, R&D, and the sales team. You will provide technical direction, mentorship, and support to FAEs worldwide to drive design wins, enhance customer relationships, and support the growth of cutting-edge power management technology solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with power management design, including familiarity with gallium nitride (GaN) technology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing FAEs and/or technical field teams
- Proven ability to guide, mentor, and develop technical talent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and ability to travel globally as needed
Responsibilities:
FAE Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of high-performing FAEs, providing guidance and support in their technical development and career growth.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skill assessments.
- Recruit and hire top-tier technical talent to expand the FAE team.
Technical Expertise & Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary technical interface between FAEs and internal teams (applications engineering, R&D).
- Gather field insights and customer feedback to inform product roadmaps and new product introductions.
- Provide technical training and direction to FAEs, ensuring they possess the latest knowledge on power management technologies.
Customer Engagement & Business Development:
- Travel internationally to support key accounts and build strong customer relationships.
- Drive design wins by collaborating closely with FAEs and sales teams.
- Track and forecast design wins, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Strategic Impact:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company's global sales and technical strategies.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management, influencing product development priorities.
