Position: Principal Field Service Engineer
Location: Central Europe (Germany preferred), or the UK
Travel Requirements: 75% (Primarily Europe: 90% GER/AUT/SWI/UK)

Key Responsibilities
Technical Mastery:
- Lead and execute projects on advanced semiconductor tool technologies, focusing on:
- Endura PVD (Priority 1)
- Centura DCVD/MCVD (Priority 2)
- P5000 CVD (Priority 3)
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including:
- Tool refurbishments
- Installations
- Warranty and service contract support
- Handle all aspects of maintenance, from routine servicing to advanced troubleshooting.
- Document and report all activities to maintain high operational standards.
Customer-Centric Approach:
- Serve as the first point of contact for European customers, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Be a trusted advocate for the company’s products and services.
Leadership and Mentorship:
- Guide and mentor fellow engineers, sharing your technical knowledge and experience.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- A minimum of 12+ years as a field service engineer, with significant expertise in at least two of the following:
- Endura PVD
- Centura DCVD/MCVD
- P5000 CVD
- Previous employment with Applied Materials, holding a position of Customer Engineer III or higher.
Qualifications:
- EU citizenship or an EU Blue Card allowing work and residency in the EU.
- Fluent in English (essential). Additional fluency in German is highly desirable, with French or Italian being a bonus.
- Home base preferably in Germany, but other Central European locations considered.
Travel Requirements
- Travel up to 75% of the time, primarily within Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK.
- Monday through Friday availability for regional travel.
Compensation and Benefits
