ROLE: Supply Chain Specialist
LOCATION: Biel, Switzerland
SALARY: Negotiable
DURATION: Permanent
As a key member of our supply chain team, you will manage a variety of tasks across purchasing, sales, and production monitoring of electronic components (integrated circuits).
Your Responsibilities
Sales:
• Prepare order confirmations, invoices, and export documentation using our ERP system.
• Provide exceptional customer service support.
Purchasing:
• Manage the procurement process, from obtaining quotations to placing orders, including tracking deadlines.
Production:
• Plan and oversee the activities of both internal and external production partners.
General Support:
• Handle telephone and email correspondence primarily in German and English, with occasional use of French.
• Assist in organizing the annual inventory.
Warehouse Management:
• Generate and analyze statistics (KPIs).
• Assist in the creation of budgets.
Administrative Assistance:
• Provide support to the COO across various operational areas.
Your Profile
• Completed commercial or equivalent training with at least three years of professional experience in supply chain management or coordination.
• Leadership experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken; French is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office.
• Experience working with ERP systems (knowledge of Abacus is an advantage).
• Excellent communication skills, quick learner, adaptable, and resilient.
• Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible working style.
• Team player with a proactive approach and motivation to learn new skills.
