Researcher in SoC Architecture
Responsibilities
Lead advanced research efforts to enhance CPU microarchitecture and improve the overall performance of SoCs, focusing on wireless base station scheduling and data transmission service requirements.
Innovate new computing architectures to increase the performance and capacity of wireless systems through software-hardware co-design and other technical advancements.
Monitor and identify emerging trends in scalar, vector, and tensor processing, along with optimization techniques for CPU microarchitecture.
Propose cutting-edge technologies for CPU, memory/cache, interconnects, and overall SoC design aimed at improving Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) and system flexibility.
Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with leading industry players and academic institutions, collaborating with professors specializing in computer architecture.
Key Qualifications
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or a closely related field.
At least 5 years of experience in chip design or wireless base station communication.
Strong expertise in hardware-software co-design, microprocessor architecture for scalar, vector, and tensor computing, job scheduling in heterogeneous parallel systems, memory optimization in many-core systems, and power optimization.
Familiarity with wireless and cellular technologies, such as LTE/5G NR, is a plus.
Solid understanding of hardware-software interactions, with experience in compiler technologies preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives.
