ROLE: Digital EDA/CAD Engineer
LOCATION: Lausanne, Switzerland
SALARY: Negotiable

In this role, you will be co-responsible for but not limited to developing project environments, methodologies, and mixed-signal design flows for IC and System design engineers.
Skills:
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, TCL, SKILL, develop GUIs, etc.
• High understanding of the chip design process, knowledge of digital, analog, and mixed-signal IC design flows
• Proficient in EDA/CAD flow development while considering all shareholder's concerns
• Preferably some RTL coding experience. Basic understanding and knowledge of System-Verilog, VHDL.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, maintain, and improve new complex software design tools
• Collaborate effectively throughout EDA and support the engineering teams
• Ability to debug issues, document solutions, and flows, and, create user guidelines
Responsibility:
• Act as part of a highly-responsive team within the organization for defining and implementing IC design development tool flow & methodologies
• Support tool evaluation, tool selection, drive consensus, deployment, support, and flow development
• Assist with training delivery to the engineering design teams
• Address tool issues with EDA/CAD vendors, actively helping the engineering design team to timely find reasonable solutions
• Contribute to a company-wide consensus on design tools, flows, and methodologies
Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in front-end and back-end flows for digital circuit design (like netlist generation, simulation, synthesis, P&R, parasitic extraction, STA and EM/IR analysis, physical validation, DfT, ATPG, etc)
• Experience with deployment and support of low-power design methodologies (UPF, CPF)
• Experience with Cadence Voltus or similar tool and, On-Die Power Integrity (IR drop, Electro Migration analysis, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, methodologies, licensing, and release process
• Working experience in code development to create/improve automation tools to be used by the design engineers
• Hands-on knowledge of software development methods, system architecture, OS implementation
• In-depth Data Management tool experience (GIT, SVN, Cliosoft), supporting consistent and flexible multi-project / multi-discipline flow setup, database tagging
• Used to implement and follow processes required for quality certification
