Job Title: Digital IC Design Engineer
Position: Hardware Design Engineering
Location: Biot, France
Salary Range: 40K – 60K EUR per annum
Client Information:
You will be developing the next generation of configurable interconnect and system IP solutions for on-chip and inter-die communications.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, focusing on best-in-class area, power, performance, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
•Design new elements of the next-generation NoC, including Switches, Sockets, Protocols, and transport layers, contributing to best-in-class communication systems for both coherent and non-coherent protocols.
•Contribute to the development of verification methodologies and regression environments for testing and validation.
•Collaborate with software and documentation teams to ensure cohesion and alignment across all aspects of the product, ensuring high performance.
•Maintain and enhance the design development flow methodology, focusing on increasing automation and efficiency.
Requirements:
•Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in Hardware SoC design.
•Proficiency in Hardware Description Languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog).
•Skilled in programming languages such as C++, Kotlin, or Scala.
•Knowledge of bus protocol architectures such as AMBA.
•Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
•Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Desired:
•Experience with digital hardware generation and hardware construction languages.
•Knowledge of interconnect technology and cache-coherent systems.
Education Requirements:
•PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
