Senior Process Integration Engineer – Belgium

Responsibilities:
• Develop Process integration schemes for new devices like NS, CFET and 2-D materials-based devices and circuits.
• Manage the development of required process steps/modules together with other partner.
• Define, characterize and optimize existing process steps / modules with the overall performance goals of the processes and devices
• Follow-up of relevant literature and industry trends; make benchmark reports on state-of-the-art
• Propose new integrated process flows to meet requirements and target applications based on industry best practices with manufacturability and yield in mind
To be considered for this position you will need the following:
• Education requirements: Preferably PhD degree in Materials science, Physics, Chemistry or in a related technical discipline. A Master degree is also considered in combination with demonstrated relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with clean room processing. Minimum 3 but preferably 5 years hands-on experience in CMOS lab/fab process engineering in typical CMOS processes (like CVD, photo lithography, dry and wet etch, metallization, metrology, CMP, wafer bonding)
• Thorough understanding of typical CMOS processes and their interactions
• Knowledge of device physics and relevant materials like Si, 2D-materials, Ge
• Able to understand process integration flows as well as do hands-on process step and module development
