The Role
- Senior Staff Applications Engineer

This high-impact position is perfect for a passionate engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll play a pivotal role in developing and launching new and existing power management solutions.

Here's a glimpse into your daily impact:
- Collaborate with design, test, product engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product integration for real-world applications.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership in developing new power management ICs, like multi-phase regulators and system-on-chip (SoC) power management solutions.
- Support customer applications and product development, driving sales of their industry-leading portable power integrated circuits.
- Prototype new products, leveraging your hands-on lab experience and test and measurement techniques.
- Influence product planning and validation by collaborating effectively across teams.
- Partner directly with customers to create innovative design solutions and troubleshoot complex system issues.

Are You the Right Fit?
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- You have 10+ years of experience crafting power management solutions for DC-DC, AC-DC, and SoC PMIC applications.
- You possess a deep understanding of circuit design, power systems, and PC-based software.
- Your lab skills are top-notch, allowing you to characterize new products and design application circuits.
- You're comfortable writing basic non-production code (C++, C#, Python).
- You've demonstrably led or performed high-frequency DC-DC switching converter layouts using Cadence or similar software.
- Experience with serial communication protocols like I2C is a plus.
- Your communication skills are excellent – you can write clear, concise technical documents and effectively present complex ideas.
- You're a master of test equipment, wielding oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and other lab instruments with ease (ideally using NI LabView software).
- A working knowledge of PCB layout and fabrication is a benefit.
