Our client, a world leader in power semiconductor innovation, is seeking a talented Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to join their growing team in Europe. You'll play a pivotal role in building customer relationships, driving design wins, and shaping the future of power electronics technology.
Here's what you'll do:
- Foster strong relationships with customer engineers, providing first-line technical expertise and identifying design opportunities for existing products.
- Collaborate closely with sales and product management to promote new solutions and secure design wins, contributing to sustainable business growth.
- Leverage your deep knowledge of power electronics to act as a trusted advisor, specializing in Motor Control and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Deliver exceptional technical support to customers and distributors, ensuring successful design-ins.
- Equip customers, distributors, and the internal sales team with valuable product and system-level training.
- Travel to customer sites to promote products, provide technical support, and engage in collaborative discussions.
- Proactively identify and propose new product development opportunities to the product line teams.
- Regularly report on design activity and progress to the Regional Sales Director.

Are You the Right Fit?
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Possess 5+ years of experience in analog hardware design, with a focus on motor control and power supply applications.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of power electronics components, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, Driver ICs, and DC/DC IC controllers.
- Prior experience in technical customer support within the power semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Possess strong intercultural competence and the ability to navigate diverse business landscapes.
- Communicate effectively with a clear and concise writing style in English. German language skills are a valuable asset.
- Be prepared for travel throughout the EMEA region with potential for occasional trips to the US and Asia (estimated travel time: 30-40%).
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work outside of standard business hours due to global collaboration.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
